I'm currently trying to decide between the Asus VG27AQGL1A and the Dell S2721DGF for my new gaming setup, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these monitors or could give me some advice. Specifically, I'm curious about their viewing angles. Which one has better viewing angles?

I agree with @yeskaydee. I also had both of these monitors in my setup at different times. The Asus VG27AQGL1A had a much wider viewing angle compared to the Dell S2721DGF. Additionally, I found an article on TechReviewer that compares these two monitors in detail. It's really helpful and provides insights into many aspects like refresh rate, response time, resolution, and more. Here's the link: Asus 27" VG27AQGL1A vs. Dell 27" S2721DGF.

I've personally used both of these monitors and can say that the Asus VG27AQGL1A has much better viewing angles than the Dell S2721DGF. The colors remained vibrant even when viewed from extreme angles, which is great for gaming and watching movies.

@Political-Intellect Thanks for sharing that! I'll definitely check out that article. The viewing angle seems to be a significant factor for me, as I often have friends over who game with me, so having a wider viewing angle would be beneficial.

Another aspect you might want to consider is the refresh rate of the monitors. While both have excellent refresh rates, the Asus VG27AQGL1A has a slightly higher refresh rate at 170 Hz compared to the Dell S2721DGF's 144 Hz. This could make a difference in fast-paced games.

In my experience, the response time is also crucial for gaming. I've noticed that both monitors have an impressive response time of 1 ms, which should result in smooth gameplay with minimal input lag.

@makeitwitu and @cocoabeachbrews Good points! Response time and refresh rate are important factors for me as well. I'll need to weigh the importance of viewing angle against these other features. Thanks for your help!

Remember that personal preference also plays a role in choosing a monitor. Some people might prioritize different aspects depending on their specific needs or preferences. Just make sure you take some time to research and test each monitor if possible.

@yeskaydee True! I'll keep that in mind as I make my decision. Thanks for all the advice, everyone!

No problem, @lucastts. Good luck with your search! And remember to check out the TechReviewer article Asus 27" VG27AQGL1A vs. Dell 27" S2721DGF for a more comprehensive comparison of these two monitors.
