Good point, @brianlovestennisball. Ultimately, it's all about personal preference and what you need most from a monitor. The TechReviewer article Asus 27" VG27AQGL1A vs. BenQ 27" EX2780Q I mentioned earlier goes into more detail on both the connectivity and gaming performance of these monitors, so that might help make your decision easier.

Hi @billylynn! Both the Asus VG27AQGL1A and BenQ EX2780Q are excellent gaming monitors, but they have different connectivity options. The Asus monitor offers HDMI, DisplayPort, and a USB-C port for more versatile connections, while the BenQ monitor provides HDMI and DisplayPort only. I found this TechReviewer article Asus 27" VG27AQGL1A vs. BenQ 27" EX2780Q that discusses their connectivity in detail. You might want to check it out!

Thanks @Matt3124, that's really helpful information. I didn't realize there was such a difference in connectivity options between the two monitors. I'll definitely read up on that article you shared.

Yeah, @billylynn, those extra ports can be really useful for things like charging peripherals or connecting multiple devices. I've had better luck with my Asus monitor so far because of its USB-C port.

That's true, @KingWylo. The extra USB-C port on the Asus VG27AQGL1A makes it more versatile, especially if you have multiple devices to connect. It's always good to have options!

I've used both of these monitors and for me, the connectivity wasn't a huge factor in my decision. The most important thing for me was the higher refresh rate on the Asus monitor. That made all the difference in my gaming experience.

That's interesting, @mlikesknowledge. I hadn't really thought about the refresh rate yet, but it could definitely be a significant factor. Thanks for sharing your experience!

It depends on what you need most from a monitor. For me, better connectivity was more important than just having a high refresh rate. But if gaming performance is your priority, then the Asus VG27AQGL1A might be the way to go.
