Asus VG258QM Monitor Stand Recommendations?

Started by redd1te7 on June 20, 2024

I'm thinking about getting the Asus VG258QM monitor and want to know what kind of stand or mount would be best for it. Has anyone had experience with this particular model?

I have that monitor, and it's working great! As for a mount, you should check out this TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Asus's 24.5" VG258QM which talks about different types of stands and mounts available for the VG258QM.

That's awesome, thanks @ejacublake. I'm thinking about either a desk mount or a monitor stand. What do you think?

Both options can work well depending on your needs. A desk mount would give you more flexibility in terms of screen positioning and cable management, while a monitor stand might offer better ergonomics and adjustability.

Thanks for the advice @verticalmike. I'm leaning towards a desk mount since I need to save some space on my desk.

That's a good choice. Just make sure you choose a desk mount that's compatible with your monitor's VESA size and weight.

Yeah, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Do any of you have experience with specific brands or models?

I've used the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount before, and it was great for my 24-inch monitor. It should be compatible with your Asus VG258QM as well.

That's helpful, thanks @buzzorotto. Now I just need to decide between a desk mount and a monitor stand.

Personally, I prefer using a wall mount for my monitors because it keeps my desk clutter-free. But that might not be the best option if you want to frequently change your screen positioning.

Good point @lousiana. I think I'll go with a desk mount then. Thanks everyone for the input!

No problem, @Camaro70. Enjoy your new monitor!
