I've been looking at the Asus VG249Q1R and was wondering if anyone has tried using adjustable monitor arms with it? Any recommendations?

Hey guys, just wanted to share a link I found on TechReviewer that discusses various monitor arms compatible with the Asus VG249Q1R, including C-clamp mounts, grommet mounts, wall mounts, and monitor stands. Check it out here: Monitor Mounts & Stands for Asus's 23.8" VG249Q1R. It might be helpful for those still looking for recommendations.

Hey, I've used the C-clamp mounts with my Asus VG249Q1R, and they work great! There's a good article on Monitor Mounts & Stands for Asus's 23.8" VG249Q1R that gives an overview of different types of monitor arms.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @Mauronic. I'm considering using a grommet mount instead. Does anyone have any thoughts on those?

I've been using the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount with my Asus VG249Q1R, and it's been working perfectly fine for me. The setup was quite easy too.

Solution

Thanks for sharing the link, @hardinMI! I appreciate it. Based on your experiences, do you think a C-clamp or grommet mount would be better suited for me?

I'd say go with what suits your desk setup best. If you have a desk edge that can accommodate a clamp, then the C-clamp might work well for you. Grommet mounts offer more stability but require drilling or having a pre-existing hole in your desk.

I'm leaning towards the grommet mount since my desk has a hole, and it seems to provide better support. But I wanted to get some opinions on wall mounts as well.

Wall mounts are great for keeping your desk clutter-free, but they can be more difficult to install, especially if you don't have a suitable spot on the wall for them. If you're comfortable with drilling holes in your wall and have a place to mount it securely, then a wall mount might be worth considering.

Thanks again for all the input! I think I'll go with a grommet mount since it seems like the most stable option for my setup. I'll probably order one today.
