Asus ProArt PA278QV for Primary Gaming?

I've been looking into getting a new monitor and came across the Asus ProArt PA278QV. Does anyone have any experience with it or have some advice on whether it would be good as a primary gaming monitor?

I haven't personally used that one, but I remember reading an article about it Is the Asus 27" ProArt PA278QV Good for Gaming?. They mentioned its refresh rate and response time were both good for gaming.

That's interesting. What are your thoughts on the resolution? I've heard 2560x1440 is great for gaming, but I'm not sure if it's worth paying extra for.
