I'm looking to buy an LG UR9000 TV and I was wondering if anyone knows if the HDMI ports on these TVs support Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC)? I've heard it's a great feature for audio but not sure if my TV will have it.

Hi @iiDarkFire, welcome! According to TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the LG 65" UR9000 series TV, the LG UR9000 series supports eARC with its HDMI 2.1 port. This means you'll be able to enjoy high-quality surround sound and improved audio capabilities with your new TV!
Thanks for the info, @makeitwitu! That's great to know. I'm really looking forward to experiencing better audio quality with my new LG UR9000.
Awesome, thanks for the help! I'll definitely be checking out that TechReviewer article you shared @makeitwitu.
Hey @iiDarkFire, one thing to note is that eARC is only available on the HDMI 2.1 port, so make sure you use that one when connecting your audio devices.
Good point, @kirkrulz. Thanks for the reminder! I'll be using the HDMI 2.1 port for my audio setup then.
just a quick question - does anyone know if the LG UR9000 supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) as well? I'm curious if it's compatible with my gaming setup.
Hi @allgoodheremom, unfortunately, the LG UR9000 series does not support VRR. You can check out TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the LG 65" UR9000 series TV for more details on its HDMI capabilities.
Ah, that's too bad. Thanks for the info though, @makeitwitu. I guess I'll have to look into other options if I want VRR support in my gaming setup.
Yeah, it's always a good idea to explore your options and find the best fit for your needs. Good luck with your search, @agresticoak!
