Yeah, I've been using it for a while now and it's pretty good! It has a 144Hz refresh rate which is great for fast-paced games. The response time is also super low at 1ms.

Solution

Thanks, @cottonmouthbob and @Nullcrass! I appreciate the input. The refresh rate and response time seem like huge pluses for gaming. What about the resolution?

I think the 1920x1080 resolution is okay but it could be better. I've seen some competitors offering higher resolutions which might provide more detail at larger screen sizes.

True, higher resolution can offer better visuals, but you also need to consider other factors like refresh rate and response time. For me, those are more important in gaming and esports.

Good points all around! It sounds like the AOC G2790VX might be a solid choice for me. Any other pros or cons I should know about?

One thing to note is its color capability of 90% DCI-P3, which means vibrant visuals! But yeah, it's always good to weigh these features against your personal needs and preferences.

Based on this discussion, the AOC G2790VX seems like a strong contender for my new monitor. I'll give it some more thought before making a decision.
