I recently got a new console and I'm having trouble deciding between the AOC 31.5" CQ32G1 and the Asus 31.5" VG32VQR monitors for gaming. Can anyone share their thoughts on which one is better for console gaming?

Both monitors have similar specifications, but the Asus VG32VQR has a higher refresh rate at 165 Hz compared to the AOC CQ32G1's 144 Hz. This could make a difference in fast-paced games. The response time of the VG32VQR is also better at 1 ms compared to the CQ32G1's 4 ms.
You're right, @benjavision. I have been using the Asus VG32VQR for console gaming, and the higher refresh rate really makes a difference. The games look smoother, and there's less input lag. Plus, TechReviewer has an article on the topic AOC 31.5" CQ32G1 vs. Asus 31.5" VG32VQR that provides more in-depth analysis.
That's good to know, @melonhead316. I'm leaning towards getting the Asus VG32VQR now. But what about the color accuracy? I heard VA panels like these can have issues with color accuracy.
@ProgrammerJohn, both monitors use VA panels, so they should have similar color accuracy. However, the Asus VG32VQR has better color coverage at 95% DCI-P3 compared to the AOC CQ32G1's 100% SRGB. But in practice, you might not notice much difference unless you're doing professional work or gaming in specific conditions.
I've used both monitors for console gaming and I prefer the AOC CQ32G1. The curvature of the screen makes it more immersive, and the lower price point is also a plus. The higher refresh rate of the Asus VG32VQR didn't make as much difference to me as @melonhead316 mentioned.
@EskeetmoJoe, I see your point. Immersion does matter to me, but the higher refresh rate might still be important for some games. Thanks for sharing your experience.
@ProgrammerJohn The best choice really depends on what you value most in a gaming monitor. If immersion is more important to you, then the AOC CQ32G1 could be better. But if you want the highest possible refresh rate and smoother gameplay, go for the Asus VG32VQR.
@benjavision, I think I'll try out the Asus VG32VQR first. Thanks everyone for your input!
