AOC 24B2XH for Gaming?

I recently got an AOC 23.8" 24B2XH monitor and I'm wondering if it's good for gaming. Anyone have experience with this model?

I've been using the AOC 24B2XH for a couple of months now, and I think it's pretty decent for gaming. The refresh rate is 75 Hz which is good enough for most games. What do you think about the response time though? I read on TechReviewer that having a lower response time is better for gaming.

Yeah, I agree with @surprisinglylittle. I've been using it for a while now and it works fine for my gaming setup. The 75 Hz refresh rate isn't bad at all, but the response time of 8 ms could be better. It's decent for casual gaming, but I wouldn't recommend it for competitive gaming.

That's true, I've noticed that the 8 ms response time can cause some ghosting in fast-paced games. I'm thinking of upgrading to a monitor with a faster response time and lower input lag.

If you're playing casual games and don't need a super high refresh rate, then it should be fine. However, if you want to get into more competitive gaming in the future, you might want to consider a monitor with a lower response time and higher refresh rate.

Yeah, it's all about what kind of games you play and how seriously you take them. For me, I need a monitor with a faster response time for my competitive gaming sessions. The AOC 24B2XH is alright for casual gaming but not the best for competitive stuff.
