@FunsKiTo, thank you for sharing your experience! Based on what you've said and the TechReviewer article AMD Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 vs. AMD Ryzen 9 3900 @billyshpilkis provided, it seems like both processors are capable of handling my content creation needs. However, since I'm working in a professional environment where stability is crucial, I think I'll go with the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900.

Both are great options for content creators! The main difference between them is that the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 lacks overclocking support but has better DDR4 memory support (3200 MHz) and PCIe 4.0, which can be beneficial for professional tools and high-performance computing. The Ryzen 9 3900 supports overclocking, making it a better choice for users who want to push their system's performance further.

@Pearlescent, I recommend reading this TechReviewer article AMD Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 vs. AMD Ryzen 9 3900 that compares the AMD Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 CPU with the AMD Ryzen 9 3900. It provides an in-depth analysis of their features and performance, which might help you make a more informed decision.

@billyshpilkis, thanks for sharing that! So, according to the article, both processors have identical specifications in terms of core types, core counts, frequencies, and cache capacities. However, the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 lacks overclocking support but has better DDR4 memory support (3200 MHz) and PCIe 4.0, which can be beneficial for professional tools and high-performance computing. The Ryzen 9 3900 supports overclocking, making it a better choice for users who want to push their system's performance further. Based on my needs, do you think the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 would be enough or should I go with the Ryzen 9 3900?

@Pearlescent, it really depends on your specific needs and preferences. If you're working in a professional environment where stability is key, the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 might be more suitable due to its lack of overclocking support. On the other hand, if you want maximum flexibility and the ability to overclock for higher performance, the Ryzen 9 3900 would be the better choice.

@Pearlescent, another factor to consider is that both processors offer excellent gaming and general app performance. So, if your content creation involves playing games or using general apps, either processor should serve you well.

@Pearlescent, I've been using the Ryzen 9 Pro 3900 for a while now, and it has served me well in my content creation workflow. The lack of overclocking support hasn't been an issue for me, as I mostly use professional tools that don't require extreme performance. However, if you think you might want to overclock in the future, I'd recommend going with the Ryzen 9 3900.
