AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D vs. Intel Core i7-14700KF - Better for Gaming?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma regarding which CPU to get for my new gaming PC build. I've been looking at the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Intel Core i7-14700KF, but I can't seem to decide which one would be better for gaming. Any suggestions?

It said that for most games, having more than 8 cores doesn't provide significant advantages. The Ryzen 9 7950X3D does have a higher core count and base frequency though.
