AMD Ryzen 9 7950X vs. 3900X for Gaming?

I've been looking into getting a new CPU, and I'm trying to decide between the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and the 3900X. Any thoughts on which one would be better for gaming?

Both are great CPUs, but the 7950X has more cores and higher frequencies, which makes it better suited for more demanding applications and professional tools.
