AMD Ryzen 9 7900X vs Intel Core i5-12400F: Gaming Choice?

I'm looking for some advice. I've been researching the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and the Intel Core i5-12400F for my new gaming PC build, but I can't decide which one to go with. Any suggestions?

Both CPUs are great, but if you're going to be doing a lot of gaming, I'd recommend the Ryzen 9 7900X. It has more cores and higher single-core boost frequency which should help with gaming performance. Also, it supports DDR5 and PCIe 5.0, which can make a difference in overall system performance.
