I've been considering getting either the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X or the 7900 for my next build, and I'm curious what you all think about their multi-tasking capabilities. Has anyone had experience with these CPUs?

Thanks, @kuramochiyu. That article was really informative! From what I gathered, the 7900X seems to have a higher base frequency and single-core max boost frequency. Does anyone think these differences are significant for multi-tasking?
In my opinion, having more cores is usually beneficial for multi-tasking. The 7900X has an edge in that department with its 12 cores compared to the 7900's 8 cores.
That makes sense, @CharlieLeaPavory. So it seems like the 7900X would be better suited for my needs, considering I often have multiple applications running at the same time. What about you guys? Any personal anecdotes or experiences?
I've been using a 7900 for a while now and haven't encountered any issues when it comes to multi-tasking. It handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat.
