Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely read through that article. Just to clarify, do you find that the 3950X meets all your video editing needs?

Hey there! Yes, the Ryzen 9 3950X is a beast when it comes to video editing. I've been using it for quite some time and have had no issues whatsoever. The core count and high base frequency are really impressive.

That's great to hear, @diskdinomite! @kimcampy, the article I mentioned earlier does a fantastic job of breaking down the specs and performance of both CPUs. It might help you make a more informed decision.

Thanks for all the input, guys! I'm starting to see why both options are so popular among video editors. Now I just need to decide which one will suit my specific needs better.

I've been using the Core i9-12900K and have found it to be really good for video editing too. Both CPUs are top-notch, but the Intel CPU has some advantages like its higher single-core boost frequency and support for DDR5 with a max stock speed of 4800 MHz. You might want to consider those factors as well.

That's really helpful, @fawkesfire. I appreciate you sharing your experience with the Core i9-12900K. It sounds like both options are excellent choices for video editing. I'll have to take some time to weigh the pros and cons of each one.

Absolutely, @kimcampy. Take your time in making the decision. Remember, you can always sell or return it if it doesn't work out for you. Good luck!
