AMD Ryzen 7 7700X vs. AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Overclocking?

CPU AMD 7700X 5600X

I've been looking into getting a new CPU and was wondering if anyone has experience with the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X when it comes to overclocking? I've heard mixed things about these CPUs, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey @devllord! I have the Ryzen 7 7700X and I'm really happy with its performance. As for overclocking, I had no issues pushing my CPU to around 5.2 GHz on all cores, which was pretty amazing. Hey @devllord, I've been using a Ryzen 5 5600X for a few months now, and it's been serving me well. As for overclocking, I managed to hit around 4.8 GHz on all cores without any issues. It's definitely possible to push the CPU, but the 7700X seems to have a bit more headroom.

So it sounds like both CPUs can be overclocked, but the Ryzen 7 7700X might give you a little more wiggle room for higher frequencies.
