AMD Ryzen 7 7700 vs. Intel Core i5-12600K - Better Gaming CPU?

I'm in the market for a new gaming CPU and can't decide between the AMD Ryzen 7 7700 and the Intel Core i5-12600K. Has anyone here had experience with either of these CPUs? Any insights would be great!
