I've been looking into getting a motherboard for my new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I'm particularly interested in one that has good performance and value for money.

Hi @BeRoy2000! I recently bought the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus Wi-Fi, and it's been working great for me. The price is reasonable, and it offers a lot of features. You can check out this TechReviewer article Choosing the Best Motherboard for AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X3D for more information on the best motherboards for Ryzen 7 5800X3D.
Thanks for the suggestion, @jimbojim1997! I was looking at that one, but I wasn't sure if it had all the ports and connections I needed. Can you tell me more about its video output, storage options, USB ports, audio outputs, and form factor?
Sure, @BeRoy2000. The ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus Wi-Fi has a decent selection of video output ports, including HDMI and DisplayPort. For storage, it offers two M.2 slots and six SATA ports. It has eight USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and one USB Type-C port. The audio outputs include S/PDIF out and an integrated audio solution from Realtek. As for the form factor, it's an ATX board.
That sounds pretty good! I was also considering the MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI. Do you think that would be a better option or should I stick with the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus Wi-Fi?
I've heard good things about the MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI as well. It's a solid choice, but it really depends on your specific needs and budget. The TechReviewer article Choosing the Best Motherboard for AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X3D discusses various options in detail, so you might want to check that out before making a decision.
I've been using the MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI for a few months now, and I must say, it's an excellent motherboard. It has plenty of room for upgrades, and I'm really happy with its performance. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @iosifache! I think I'll check out both options in more detail and make a decision based on my budget and requirements. I appreciate all the help from everyone here.
No problem, @BeRoy2000! Good luck with your search, and feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
