AMD Ryzen 7 5800X vs. Intel Core i9-11900K for Content Creation?

I've been researching CPUs for content creation and came across the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Intel Core i9-11900K. Has anyone used either of these? Any advice would be great!

I've used the Ryzen 7 5800X for a while now, and it works great for video editing and rendering. Haven't tried the i9-11900K though.

Yeah, I recently switched to the i9-11900K, and I must say, it's been impressive! The single-core boost frequency is really useful for heavy multitasking.

That's good to hear, @agresticoak and @triple-t-type. It seems like both have their strengths. What about thermal performance? Any issues with overheating?

I haven't experienced any overheating issues with the 5800X, but it's always good to monitor your system temps.

Same here, no problems with my i9-11900K either. Just make sure you have a decent cooling solution.
