AMD Ryzen 7 5700G vs. Intel Core i7-12700K - Better for Gaming?

I'm thinking about building a new gaming PC and I'm trying to decide between the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G and Intel Core i7-12700K. Can you help me figure this out?

Yeah, I've used the Ryzen 7 5700G and it worked pretty well for me. The only problem was that the GPU was a bottleneck at times, but I think that's more of an issue with the GPU itself than the CPU.
