I recently got an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 3400G CPU and I'm trying to find the best RAM to pair with it. Any recommendations?

Hi @mememeist! Based on TechReviewer's article Best RAM for the AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 3400G CPU, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 2933 (PC4-23400) C16 Desktop Memory - Black is highly recommended for the Ryzen 5 Pro 3400G. It offers great performance, compatibility, and value.

Thanks @OnlyPaladin! I was looking at that one. Can you tell me more about its performance capabilities?

The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 RAM is great for gaming and other resource-intensive tasks. Its 32 GB capacity should be plenty for the Ryzen 5 Pro 3400G CPU, and the 2933 MHz clock speed is ideal for smooth performance.

That's good to know @TheRepostBot. How does it handle thermal management?

The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro comes with efficient aluminum heatsinks that keep temperatures in check. You won't have to worry about overheating issues with this RAM.

I also have the same CPU and I'm using G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 C16. It's performing well for me so far. You might want to check it out as an alternative.

Thanks @Travelblind! That sounds like a good option too. How do the timings compare to the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro?

The G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 C16 has better timings than the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, but it's also more expensive. If you're looking for performance and value, the Corsair option might be a better choice.

Interesting! Thanks for all the input guys. I'll take a closer look at both options. Do you have any experiences with overclocking these RAMs?

Overclocking can be done on both RAMs, but it's not necessary for most users. The stock speeds should provide ample performance for most tasks. However, if you're looking to push your system further, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro might have a slight edge due to its better thermal management.

I've never tried overclocking my G.Skill Ripjaws V, but from what I've read, both options should be capable of stable overclocks. Just make sure you're comfortable with the process and that you monitor your system's stability while doing so.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll do some more research and see which RAM suits me best. Have a great day everyone!

You're welcome, @mememeist! Good luck with your decision. If you have any questions later on, feel free to ask us.

Same here, take care!
