I've recently decided to build a PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G CPU and I'm trying to figure out the power supply wattage requirement. Can anyone help me out?
AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G Wattage Requirement?

Sure thing! The recommended wattage for the Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G is typically between 350-850 watts, depending on the other components you're using in your build.
@T3hKaiser, have you checked out TechReviewer's article about choosing a power supply for AMD's Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G CPU? It might help you make a more informed decision. Here's the link: Choosing the Best Power Supply for AMD's Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G CPU. I found it quite useful!
Thanks, @Coolairforceschedule! That's really helpful. From what I've read so far, it seems like an 850 watt power supply would be sufficient for my build. However, I'm also planning to get a mid-tier graphics card and a couple of SSDs. Should I still go with the higher end of the recommended wattage?
It might not hurt to go with the higher end, @T3hKaiser. Since you're getting a mid-tier GPU, your total power consumption could go up. Plus, having some extra headroom is always a good idea in case you decide to upgrade components in the future.
@T3hKaiser, I'd also recommend checking out our build thread where we discussed this exact issue with a Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G setup and a mid-tier GPU. You might find it beneficial: Choosing the Best Power Supply for AMD's Ryzen 5 Pro 2400G CPU.
Great advice, @FunsKiTo & @MathRamp! Thanks for the suggestions. After going through all these posts, I think I'll go ahead and get an 850 watt power supply to be safe.
That's a wise choice, @T3hKaiser. Just make sure you're getting a reliable PSU from a good brand to avoid any potential issues down the line. Good luck with your build!
