CPU INTEL AMD 5600X 12600KF

I'm trying to decide whether to get the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or the Intel Core i5-12600KF for my new gaming PC. Can anyone here recommend which one is better for gaming? I've seen some comparisons online but it's hard to make a decision without knowing what real users experience with these CPUs.
