AMD Ryzen 5 3600 vs. Intel Core i3-9100F for Gaming?

I'm thinking about getting a new CPU for gaming purposes and I'm trying to decide between the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and Intel Core i3-9100F. Has anyone here used either of these? What's your experience been like?
