Solution

I've used both AMD and Intel CPUs in the past, and I must say that both are capable of delivering decent gaming performance. However, if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the Ryzen 3 4100 for its higher single-core boost frequency.

In my experience, both processors are suitable for casual gamers. But for more serious or competitive gamers, the Ryzen 3 4100 seems to have an edge due to its higher single-core boost frequency.

I've been using the Intel Core i3-10100F for a few months now and I'm quite satisfied with its performance in most games. I wouldn't say it's inferior to the Ryzen 3 4100, but if you're looking for a processor with a higher single-core boost frequency, then the Ryzen 3 4100 might be worth considering.

That's helpful, guys! So it seems like both processors are good options for gaming, and ultimately, it comes down to personal preferences and specific use cases. I'll read up more on these CPUs and make my decision accordingly. Thanks for your insights!

@DarthStrom You're welcome! Just remember that the TechReviewer article I mentioned earlier covers a lot of ground on this topic. Good luck with your choice!
