AMD Ryzen 3 3200G vs. AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Multitasking?

I'm currently trying to decide between the AMD Ryzen 3 3200G and the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 for multitasking purposes. Can anyone provide some insights on which one would be better for this use case?

For general multitasking, both CPUs should perform similarly. However, if you're planning on running resource-intensive applications or multiple virtual machines at once, the Ryzen 5 1600 might have an edge due to its additional cores and threads.
