AMD 7700X vs Intel i7-13700K: Best for Gaming?

CPU INTEL AMD 7700X 13700K

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm looking to buy a new CPU and can't decide between the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and Intel Core i7-13700K for gaming purposes. Can anyone help me out?

The 7700X has an excellent single-core max boost frequency, which is great for gaming. However, it lacks Performance cores that the i7-13700K has.

I've used both CPUs and personally, I prefer the Intel Core i7-13700K for gaming. It feels smoother to me.
