I've been using an ADATA Legend 840, 512GB SSD in my gaming PC for quite some time now. It's great for gaming and offers fast read/write speeds that help reduce load times significantly.

@DJredditer That's good to know! So, you think a 512GB capacity is enough for most games?

Yes, I believe it should be more than sufficient for most games. However, it really depends on the number of games you plan to install and how much updates/downloads you have.

Solution

@seriousdolphin Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. Is there any specific software that requires more storage space than others?

Some games like open-world titles can take up a lot of space due to their detailed worlds and high-quality assets. So, if you're into those types of games, you might want to consider having extra storage.

@DJredditer Good point! I'm really looking forward to playing some upcoming open-world games. Thanks for the info!

No problem! If you ever need more storage in the future, you can always upgrade your SSD. There are many great options out there, like the ADATA Legend 840 series.

@wbrandeler That's true. And remember that having a fast SSD can really enhance your gaming experience with faster load times and smoother gameplay. Good luck building your new PC!

Thanks everyone for your helpful insights! I'll definitely keep all this in mind when building my new gaming PC.
