I'm looking into getting a new monitor and am considering the Acer CB273U. Can anyone tell me if it's good for gaming? I've heard the refresh rate is pretty important.

Hey there! The Acer CB273U has a 75 Hz refresh rate which is good for gaming. There's also an article discussing this in more detail at Is the Acer 27" CB273U BEMIPRUZX Good for Gaming?. You might find it helpful to check out.

Yeah, the refresh rate does matter a lot. I have an older 60 Hz monitor and I can definitely feel the difference when playing games with higher frame rates on my friends' monitors.

Oh, that's cool! Thanks for the link, I'll definitely have a look at that. How do you guys feel about the 75 Hz refresh rate? Is it enough or should I aim higher?

For me, 75 Hz is good enough for most games, but when playing fast-paced ones like first-person shooters or racing games, I'd prefer something higher.

Same here. I have a monitor with a 120 Hz refresh rate and it makes a huge difference in the responsiveness and smoothness of my gaming experience.

That's good to know. Thanks for the input! So, I guess if I mostly play casual games or something, would the Acer CB273U be fine?

It really depends on your preferences and the types of games you like to play. If you're mainly playing less demanding games, a 75 Hz refresh rate should work just fine for you.

True! Also, the other specs like resolution, response time, and color accuracy are important too. You might want to check those out before making your decision.

Thanks everyone for the advice! I'll definitely do more research on all of those factors before deciding on a monitor. Appreciate the help!

No problem! Good luck with your search!
