The Samsung 970 EVO Plus is an excellent choice for gamers. It has impressive read/write speeds that can significantly improve your gaming performance. I've been using one for a while, and the faster load times and smoother gameplay are noticeable.

@jeffleighmoore, the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB is indeed a great SSD for gaming. It also helps with game updates and installations.

@dudefromvirginia and @psquid1121! So, the read speed is 3,500 MB/s and write speed is 2,300 MB/s for this SSD, right? How do these speeds impact gaming performance?

Yeah, those are the specs. The high read/write speeds make a noticeable difference in loading times and overall game responsiveness. For example, open-world games benefit greatly from quick load times, as they often have massive environments to explore.

@jeffleighmoore, that's correct. The Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB has a read speed of 3,500 MB/s and a write speed of 2,300 MB/s. These speeds are ideal for gaming because they reduce load times and improve overall system responsiveness. In my experience, the faster SSD also helps with game installations and updates.

That's really helpful, @psquid1121! I'm wondering if this SSD would be compatible with the PlayStation 5 as well?

The Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250 GB is backward compatible with PlayStation 4 but not officially supported by PlayStation 5. However, many users have reported success using it with PS5, so it's worth a try.
